Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to greet patients, identify needs, and schedule visits. You will help ensure the booking experience is pleasant and efficient.

Responsibilities include collecting patient information, verifying insurance eligibility, coordinating with providers, triage as needed, and facilitating communication with patients and staff. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and schedule visits.
• Collect patient personal and insurance information accurately.
• Run patient insurance eligibility checks.
• Review provider schedules to place appointments correctly.
• Follow triage protocols as needed.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and staff; route calls accordingly.
• Assist with MyChart setup when applicable.
• Reschedule appointments as needed.
• Adhere to policies and perform other duties as assigned.
