Talentify is hiring a Patient Access Representative in Texas to serve as the first point of contact for patients and families. You will verify demographics, insurance, and payments, while routing questions to the care team and guiding patients through MyChart.

You will handle scheduling, referrals, and EPIC workqueues, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Strong communication and privacy discipline are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or progress toward degree preferred.
• Prior customer service experience, especially in healthcare, is highly valued.
• Familiarity with EPIC and basic medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in/out for medical visits.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Assist patients with enrolling and using MyChart.
• Enter and validate patient demographic, insurance, and financial information.
• Communicate with care team and insurance companies as needed.
• Collect payments for copays and balances.
• Process paperwork and navigate EPIC workqueues.
• Schedule referrals and follow-up visits.
• Maintain PHI privacy and security.
