Oregon Health & Science University is seeking a PAS Resource Specialist (PASR) to serve as the first point of contact for patients at the Comprehensive Pain Center. You will handle scheduling, check-in/check-out, and patient communications, coordinating with providers and support staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Responsibilities include scheduling complex procedures, verifying insurance information, and acting as a liaison among physicians, nursing staff, and patients.

Competenze

• One year of experience in a medical office with high-volume patient contact.
• Knowledge of PAS policies and procedures.
• Proficient with Windows, online scheduling, and EMR data entry.
• Excellent communication and customer service.

• Schedule high-volume patient appointments and procedures; act as liaison for providers and staff.
• Check-in and check-out patients; verify demographics, insurance, and financial info.
• Answer incoming calls; schedule, transfer, or triage to clinical team; document requests in EMR.
