Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a courteous Patient Services Clerk to serve as the frontline contact for patients, scheduling appointments, registering patients, and maintaining accurate records. You will support physicians and care teams with administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires previous healthcare exposure, good communication, and attention to HIPAA guidelines, with an emphasis on accuracy in data entry and patient interaction.

Qualifications

• 1 year in healthcare related field or experience in scheduling/registration preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, directing them to appropriate staff.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage registrations.
• Handle patient chart maintenance and ensure accurate data entry.
• Coordinate with physicians' offices for referrals and authorizations.
• Collect co-pays and assist with billing processes as needed.
• Maintain department records and help with general administrative duties.
