Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an organized Patient Services Assistant in Scottsdale, AZ. The role acts as the first point of contact, handling registration, scheduling, data entry, and chart maintenance to support gynecology services at the Pima Center.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year in a healthcare setting, with experience in scheduling and patient registration. Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in healthcare related field and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• 2 years in healthcare related experience including scheduling and registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as first point of contact for customers.
• Handles clerical and patient support duties including telephone, registration, scheduling and data entry.
• Maintains patient charts and communicates with physicians' offices as needed.
• Schedules procedures and tracks no-shows; provides scheduling information to staff.
