Jefferson Health Plans seeks a Patient Services Associate II to professionally handle arrival/departure activities and coordinate patient flow. The role emphasizes courteous interaction, data verification, and processing of pre-certifications for procedures within a fast-paced office setting.

The candidate will support the Jefferson Experience by ensuring accurate patient demographics, insurance verification, and referrals while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and office policies.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to communicate courteously with patients and visitors.
• Willingness to provide and support a positive Jefferson Experience.
• Ability to process and interpret data.
• Ability to multi-task under time sensitive workload.

Responsabilités

• Check in/out and schedule appointments via EPIC.
• Obtains pre certifications and/or pre authorizations for procedures.
• Maintain efficient flow of practice and escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Greet patients/visitors professionally in person or on the phone.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
