Job summary

UNC Health is seeking an Onsite Patient Access Associate for the Holly Springs Central Registration team in North Carolina. You will verify demographics and insurance in ADT and other clinical systems to support safe, accurate patient processing.

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, collecting upfront payments, and ensuring documentation is complete and legible. The role runs Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m., onsite, with a 40-hour week and a salary range of $19.12–$27.17 per

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service and/or clerical experience.

Responsibilities

• Verifies key ADT information (insurance verification, patient and guarantor demographics) to ensure safety, charging, coding, and billing accuracy.
• Schedules all new and follow-up patient appointments; communicates cancellations to provider and attempts rescheduling when possible.
• Completes and documents regulatory and financial forms; ensures documents are scanned to correct location and legible.
• Uses price estimation tool in registration to provide accurate patient estimates.
• Meets up-front collections targets including deposits, estimated amounts due, co-pays, and/or prior balances.
• Participates in departmental QA by using system work queues and reducing errors.
