Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a front-line patient services associate to greet patients, verify demographics, and support check-in/check-out processes in a busy department. You will schedule follow-ups, assist with referrals, and handle multi-channel messages related to appointments, prescriptions, and inquiries, while maintaining privacy and accuracy in records.

Hours are rotational, with HS diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience in front-desk/administrative support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register incoming patients.
• Support patient check-out and schedule appointments.
• Verify demographics and assist with insurance processes.
• Explain financial obligations and collect payments when due.
• Handle referrals, pre-certifications, and recall lists.
• Maintain medical records and release as needed.
