Astera Health in Wadena (MN) seeks a Patient Access Representative for the Wadena Clinic. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, primarily onsite with occasional travel to satellite clinics as staffing requires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or in the process of obtaining
• Or combined years of relevant education and experience to perform the essential duties of this position.

Responsabilités

• Receives patients and visitors and ascertains their needs to assist them in a caring, professional manner.
• Secures demographic and financial information and enters it into the electronic health record to complete registration.
• Schedules clinic appointments and maintains provider clinic schedules.
• Operates telephone console and directs calls to appropriate departments when needed.
• Requests payments on accounts, prints receipts, and reconciles daily cash drawer.
• Opens and closes the office for clinic security.
