Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an organized Patient Access/Registration professional for the Menopause Clinic in Lancaster, PA. You will handle patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and ancillary tasks to support care coordination.

Responsibilities include assisting with pre-visit prep, communicating with patients, and maintaining accurate records in the EMR system. This role requires strong customer service and clerical skills in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year Revenue Cycle experience in a hospital/medical office setting.
• 1 year clerical, customer service, or administrative support experience.
• Basic keyboarding and use of office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for appointments, walk-ins, and scheduled visits.
• Verify insurance coverage and coordinate with billing and collections as needed.
• Assist with pre-visit preparation and scheduling of tests and procedures.
• Greet and assist patients and family members, answer calls and provide information.
• Maintain and update patient records in the electronic health record system.
