Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet and register incoming patients and support the patient check-out process.
• Verify patient demographics and schedule future appointments as applicable.
• Read and interpret insurance responses and assign primary/secondary/tertiary insurance per encounter.
• Communicate financial obligations and collect fees at time of service as appropriate.
• Ensure compliant handling of HIPAA guidelines and patient privacy.
• Maintain medical records and assist with referrals and pre-certifications as needed.
• Process multi-channel messages regarding appointments, referrals, prescriptions and complaints.
