Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients and verify demographics accurately.
• Monitor patient wait times and inform patients of changes.
• Read and interpret insurance responses.
• Assign primary, secondary, and tertiary insurance per encounter.
• Collect fees and communicate financial obligations at check-in.
• Complete regulatory forms with patients.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals as needed.
• Handle multi-channel messages about appointments and prescriptions.
• Post cash following department guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and patient rights.
