Job summary

The role requires strong clerical, communication, and customer service skills, with at least a high-school-level credential and 1 year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, support check-out, and schedule appointments.
• Verify demographics and process patient check-in procedures.
• Discuss insurance responses and determine primary/secondary/tertiary coverage.
• Explain financial obligations and collect fees at point of service.
• Ensure HIPAA privacy and patient rights are observed.
• Maintain medical records and assist with referrals/pre-certifications.
• Handle multi-channel messages related to appointments, referrals, prescriptions, and complaints.
