Job summary

Geisinger is looking for a dedicated front line support staff member for their Lewisburg location. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating office activities, checking patients in for appointments, and ensuring the efficient flow of patient information.

The ideal candidate should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) and preferably at least one year of related experience. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year related work experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Check patients in for appointments and accurately verify demographics.
• Ensure all check‑in procedures are completed and monitor patient wait times.
• Read and interpret insurance responses.
• Communicate financial obligations to patients and collect fees at the time of service.
• Accurately perform medical record maintenance and releases.
