Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year related work experience preferred.
• Clerical, communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients and verify demographics.
• Ensure all check-in procedures are completed and monitor patient wait times.
• Read and interpret insurance responses and assign primary/secondary/tertiary coverage.
• Communicate financial obligations and collect fees at time of service as applicable.
• Complete regulatory forms and coordinate follow-up appointments as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
