Job summary

Women’s Care in Lakeland, FL is looking for a friendly Patient Access Representative to be the first face and voice of the practice. You will collect patient information, verify demographics, and support scheduling and billing while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

You will greet patients, confirm insurance, help with payments, update EMR records in eCW, and coordinate appointments with a patient-centric approach. Join a team committed to compassionate care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet all patients and visitors with a smile in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Obtain and confirm patient demographics and update patient profile, including proper patient identification.
• Collect payment and/or assist patient with billing concern while ensuring time of service collection goals.
• Scan insurance card, ID, and other pertinent information into EMR system (HIPAA compliance).
• Set up payment plans for patients unable to pay balances per policy.
• Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls and respond to patient emails promptly while adhering to values.
• Confirm all unconfirmed appointments for the next business day.
• Monitor the lobby and keep patients informed of provider delays.
