Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients at our Oviedo, FL location. You will collect demographics, assist with scheduling and billing, and ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of information.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, exceptional customer service, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems. A patient-centered approach and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service experience with a positive patient experience at every encounter.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a high-volume setting.
• Professional, warm demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Collect and verify patient demographics; update profiles.
• Assist with billing concerns and time-of-service collections.
• Scan insurance cards, IDs, and documents into the EMR (HIPAA compliant).
• Explain financial policies and payment plans; answer questions clearly.
• Handle high volume calls and patient emails; respond promptly.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments and verify insurance information.
• Maintain lobby tidiness and assist patients as needed.
• Support online registration and forms completion; ensure accurate checkout.
