Job summary

Women’s Care in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Patient Access Representative. You will be the first face and voice of our practice, greeting patients, collecting demographics, verifying insurance, and guiding scheduling and billing encounters with compassion and accuracy.

The role requires strong customer service, excellent communication, and the ability to multi-task in a busy medical office. Full-time, on-site, with benefits including health/dental/vision and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service experience and a true desire to help others.
• Strong organizational skills required.

• Able to use Microsoft Office and learn EMR software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a courteous manner.
• Obtain and verify patient demographics and update profiles.
• Collect payment and assist with billing questions.
• Scan insurance cards and IDs into the EMR system.
• Set up payment plans per policy.
• Answer high volumes of calls and emails promptly.
• Confirm upcoming appointments and reschedule when needed.
• Ensure lobby is tidy and waiting areas are maintained.
• Assist patients with online registration or form completion.
