Job summary

Women’s Care in Winter Park, FL seeks a Patient Access Representative who will greet patients, collect demographics, verify insurance, and ensure accurate scheduling and billing encounters. You’ll be the first face and voice, delivering exceptional service and HIPAA-compliant handling of information.

Responsibilities include answering high volumes of calls and emails, setting up payment plans, updating EMR (eCW), coordinating appointments, and supporting the front lobby to keep wait times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service experience and a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong organizational skills and professional demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Obtain and confirm patient demographics; update profiles and insurance info.
• Collect payment and assist with billing concerns; meet time-of-service collection goals.
• Scan insurance cards/IDs into EMR (HIPAA compliant).
• Set up and manage payment plans per policy.
• Answer high volumes of calls and emails, guiding patients per policy.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments and verify insurance eligibility.
