Job summary

Women’s Care in Tampa, FL is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first face and voice of the practice. You will collect patient demographics, verify insurance information, schedule appointments, and handle billing questions with HIPAA-compliant care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Collect demographics and update patient profile.
• Assist with billing questions and time-of-service collections.
• Scan insurance card and ID into EMR (HIPAA compliant).
• Set up payment plans per policy.
• Answer high volume calls and patient emails.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and registration.
• Ensure checkout and follow-up scheduling.
