Job summary

Penn Medicine Southern Chester County is seeking a Patient Services Associate in our Square office. The role supports patient intake, scheduling, billing, and registrations, ensuring high-quality patient experience across front-end operations.

Shift: Mon–Thu 8:00am–4:30pm, Fri 8:15am–4:45pm, with rotating 6-week schedule and one Saturday per month. The PSA may rotate between departments as needed to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• 2+ years medical office or 2 years customer service experience; advanced degree may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Associate of Arts or Science is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with intake, registration, and scheduling; maintain patient focus and quality care.
• Answer phones promptly; manage patient requests and route to appropriate staff.
• Collect copays, verify insurance, update EMR, and finalize checkout procedures.
• Coordinate patient appointments and communicate wait times; support regulatory compliance.
