Job summary

OrthoIndy Northwest in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Patient Access Representative to perform registration, check-in, test scheduling, and check-out duties for OrthoIndy and Urgent Care visits.

You will coordinate services among patients, physician offices, and insurance carriers, verify eligibility, collect copays, and support patient flow across clinics. This role requires strong customer service and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of patient registration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic, insurance, and consent information.
• Check-in and check-out patients for OrthoIndy and Urgent Care visits.
• Schedule tests and follow-up appointments; coordinate with radiology as needed.
• Coordinate services among patients, physician offices, and insurance carriers.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; collect copays and payments.
• Assist patients with registration forms on kiosks or tablets and support downtime procedures.
• Travel to other OrthoIndy clinics and outreach sites as requested.
