Responsibilities

• Facilitate access to services, tests, procedures, and appointments as directed by care providers.
• Coordinate flow of information related to patients’ activity and perform registration and scheduling tasks.
• Handle multiple telephone lines and address caller needs quickly and thoroughly.
• Produce efficient and accurate schedules and associated reports.
• Record and update schedule changes accurately.
• Monitor discharge status and coordinate discharge communications to referring physicians.
• Participate in department decision-making and coordinate multi- area patient scheduling.
