Grace Health in Corbin, Kentucky is seeking a Patient Access Representative Scheduling Specialist to manage twice-weekly testing scheduling, update patient demographics in NextGen, and ensure patients receive TWT folders. You will also re-schedule patients when needed and coordinate with providers to maintain accurate schedules.

Responsibilities include answering calls, assisting with front-desk tasks, and using PM/EHR software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least two years medical office experience in a specialty clinic setting preferred.
• Internal candidates strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Open office daily and provide adequate reception environment for all patients.
• Maintain Twice Weekly Testing scheduling and related documentation.
• Reschedule patients as needed and contact patients during office closures.
• Update patient demographics in NextGen.
• Schedule patient appointments and cover checkout during breaks or absences.
• Be proficient with PM and EHR software.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians and peers.
