Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and families. You will verify demographics, insurance, and payments, answer inquiries, and help schedule appointments while maintaining exceptional service.

This role supports the care team and helps keep patient flow smooth and on schedule. You will interact with patients, providers, and care staff, ensuring accurate data entry and efficient registration in EPIC.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred in healthcare or front desk roles.
• Ability to verify demographics, insurance, and payments accurately.
• Strong communication with patients and care teams.
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in/out for visits with accuracy and courtesy.
• Answer phones, address inquiries, and schedule appointments.
• Assist patients with MyChart enrollment and use.
• Enter and verify patient demographic, insurance, and financial data.
