Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
• Prior receptionist/front desk experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC or similar EMR systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients warmly and professionally at check-in/check-out and schedules appointments.
• Answers a multi-line phone system, routes inquiries, and makes outbound calls to schedule appointments.
• Collects copayments and maintains accurate patient records in EPIC.
• Verifies insurance details and updates patient demographics as needed.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
