Job summary

Piedmont Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Patient Service Representative to check in patients, complete registrations, and schedule appointments at the Burlington Center. You will work under the Center Manager, ensuring accurate data entry, HIPAA compliance, and smooth patient flow.

Qualifications include EPIC EMR proficiency, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The role requires Monday–Friday hours with occasional Saturday coverage at times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of healthcare customer service preferred.
• Experience with patient access (scheduling, registration, insurance verification) preferred.
• Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Check in medical, dental, and behavioral health patients and complete registration.
• Schedule patient appointments and verify documentation; coordinate with Center Managers on denied claims.
