Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of clerical or front-office experience in medical or dental settings preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems.
• Experience using EMR systems for scheduling and patient registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and greet patients professionally.
• Enter and update patient demographics, insurance, and scheduling data in the electronic system daily.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments; provide reminders.
• Maintain provider schedules and distribute daily calendars to providers and staff.
• Assist patients with insurance or billing inquiries and route complex issues to the appropriate staff.
• Keep front-office area organized and transactions log with cash/credit card postings.
