Responsibilities

• Checking, Examining, and Recording: Verifies daily provider schedules and ensures all slots are filled; checks appointment reminders; confirms insurance before scheduling.
• Analytical and Critical Thinking: Obtains prior authorization when required by insurance carrier; performs quality assurance activities.
• Communication: Interacts with care team; documents steps in EMR; handles voicemails and emails; follows up on changes.
• Patient Focus: Identifies patient needs and resolves problems; strives for optimal scheduling and patient satisfaction.
