Job summary

CHAS Health is seeking an organized Scheduling/Patient Services Associate to improve patient access and streamline clinic coordination. You will handle first-contact inquiries, guide patients through appointment options, and manage scheduling with providers to support timely care.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, HIPAA compliance, and teamwork within a fast-paced clinic environment across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a clinical setting strongly preferred.
• Prior customer service experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service as first point of contact for patients, determining caller needs and providing information about services and access options.
• Schedules follow-up appointments before patients leave the clinic and supports in‑room scheduling to improve continuity of care.
• Performs proactive outreach to reschedule missed appointments and manages a patient waitlist to improve access.
• Schedules visits aligning with provider preferences and guidelines, ensuring accurate visit types and patient flow.
• Monitors provider schedules for gaps and collaborates with on-site team members to fill openings.
• Maintains expertise in clinic workflows, templates, and scheduling standards to support efficient operations.
