Riverwood Healthcare Center is seeking a Patient Access Clerk to verify and update patient demographics and insurance information, collect required documentation, and schedule appointments. You will deliver excellent customer service to patients and providers, helping to ensure smooth scheduling processes.

This role requires a high school diploma, familiarity with EHR and scheduling systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in patient registration, scheduling, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR and scheduling systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Collect necessary documentation for scheduling and registration.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with providers.
