Riverwood Healthcare Center is seeking a Patient Access Clerk to verify and update patient demographics and insurance information, collect required documentation, and schedule appointments. You will deliver excellent customer service to patients and providers, helping to ensure smooth scheduling processes.

This role requires a high school diploma, familiarity with EHR and scheduling systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

About The Position

The Patient Access Clerk is responsible for verifying and updating patient demographic and insurance information, collecting necessary documentation, and scheduling patient appointments. This role ensures a smooth and efficient scheduling process while delivering excellent customer service to patients and providers. The patient access clerk plays a critical role in patient access, ensuring timely scheduling, verifying insurance eligibility, and providing necessary instructions to patients.

• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling systems preferred.
