The role involves handling inbound/outbound calls, paging staff for routine and emergency notifications, and delivering timely patient support in a welcoming hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Basic typing and data entry skills.
• General clerical and administrative support skills.
• Some coursework or training from a junior college or vocational school preferred
• Experience using automated or electronic systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the hospital switchboard and handle patient registration and data collection.
• Verify insurance, assign rooms, and coordinate communication among patients, families, clinical teams, and support departments.
