Job summary

Mercy Cardiology Clinic is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to support front desk operations, patient check-in, registration and scheduling while assisting the care team in a patient-centered environment. You will coordinate appointments, communicate with patients and providers, and navigate the EMR to locate documentation and support billing inquiries as needed.

Qualifications

• Completes front desk duties and patient check-in with accuracy.
• Strong data entry and clerical skills are required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and obtain insurance cards and signatures.
• Coordinate scheduling for clinic locations.
• Handle mailings, data entry, and prepare information packets.
• Navigate EMR to locate documentation and orders.
• Answer routine billing questions and refer complex issues to Billing.
• Promote professional image and collaborate with the care team.
