Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Services Coordinator at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute to create a welcoming patient experience. You will manage check-in, verify records and demographics, and schedule future appointments to ensure a smooth start to rehabilitation journeys.

The role prioritizes scheduling accuracy, insurance verification, and coordination of services within a busy clinic. Experience with EPIC and strong customer service are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description.
• 1+ years scheduling experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and/or reschedules patient appointments, procedures, diagnostic tests and other related appointments.
• Enters scheduling documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Registers patients, verifies insurance and obtains prior authorizations as needed.
• Assists physicians with reimbursements/expense reports and medical records.
