Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in person or by phone and updates demographics and insurance in the practice management system.
• Verifies patient insurance and ensures physician accepts the presented coverage.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and manages reminders; collects co-pays under billing guidance.
• Ensures PHI handling complies with HIPAA and other regulations; maintains waiting room updates and records.
