Qualifications

• One year of experience in a medical office or similar healthcare setting.
• One year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Register and pre-register patients, collecting and verifying demographic data.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary prior authorizations.
• Schedule appointments and manage reminder calls.
• Collect and reconcile co-pays at registration.
• Scan and upload documents into the EMR.
• Respond to patient inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer guidelines.
• Provide coverage to other front office roles as needed.
