Job summary

You will verify insurance, obtain authorizations, collect patient financial responsibility, and support office operations across multiple locations while upholding confidentiality and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical assistant certificate preferred.
• 1+ years as medical receptionist/administrative assistant in health care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in the medical office.
• Answer questions and provide directions as needed.
• Field phone calls using the office number.
• Schedule appointments with medical office software.
• Register new patients and update records.
• Collect daily patient financial responsibility.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Complete and track insurance verifications, authorizations, and referrals.
• Handle workers’ compensation and auto claim submissions.
• Perform other duties as required.
