Qualifications

• Acquires vital consent from patient for records and procedures.
• Communicates with patient, staff and physicians regarding authorization decisions.
• Schedules services and prepares efficient and accurate schedules/reports.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate access to services, tests, procedures per care provider instruction.
• Register and schedule patient activities and maintain related clerical tasks.
• Coordinate discharge communications and update schedule changes as needed.
• Answer multiple telephone lines and assist callers quickly and thoroughly.
• Participate in department decision-making for scheduling across areas.
