Job summary

Fairview is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to serve patients, providers, and staff by facilitating access to tests, procedures and services as ordered by care providers. You will coordinate patient activity, perform registration and scheduling tasks, and maintain accurate schedules and reports.

You will handle multiple phone lines, communicate with staff and physicians, and participate in department decisions to coordinate schedules across areas.

Qualifications

• Scheduling experience or training in coordinating appointments and services.
• Strong communication with patients, staff and referring physicians.
• Ability to manage multiple phone lines and urgent requests efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate access to services, tests, and procedures as directed by care providers.
• Coordinate flow of information related to patient activity and scheduling.
• Handle registration and clerical tasks related to scheduling.
• Produce accurate schedules and related reports.
• Monitor discharge status and communicate with physicians and patients.
