You will oversee daily operations in the patient access area, develop improvement programs, and collaborate with caregivers to strengthen scheduling accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years Cleveland Clinic outpatient scheduling experience or equivalent, including interacting with patients, physicians, and other departments on a problem resolution basis.
• Or three years external outpatient scheduling experience, including resolving patient scheduling and the coordination of the work of others.
• Or Associate Degree and one year of experience.
• Or Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate the activities and flow of work for the patient access area.
• Develop, implement and oversee programs to improve appointment utilization such as reminder, follow-up on no-show/cancellation program.
• Coordinate activities and resolve operational problems.
• Adjust employees, patients and physicians' schedules to respond to operational problems.
• Produce reports as needed.
