Rancho Health in Riverside County is seeking a Patient Access Specialist 1 to greet patients, collect insurance details, and schedule visits. You will coordinate with providers and support staff to ensure accurate appointment placement and a positive patient experience.

The role requires 1–2 years in customer service, ideally in healthcare, with strong communication and multitasking abilities. Bilingual Spanish is preferred. Work location is Temecula/Riverside, with standard benefits.

Formación

• Minimum experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare or call center.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy under high call volumes.
• Strong verbal and written communication with professional handling of sensitive information.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients with a warm, helpful greeting and assist with scheduling.
• Collect patient personal and insurance information accurately and update as needed.
• Review provider schedules to ensure correct appointment placement.
• Follow triage protocol as needed and route calls to appropriate departments.
• Communicate patient results when available and keep records updated.
• Encourage patients to use MyChart and assist with setup.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
