Job summary

Rancho Wellness is seeking a Patient Access Specialist 1 in California to greet patients, collect insurance information, and schedule visits. You will review provider schedules, triage as needed, and coordinate with care teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 1–2 years of customer service, with healthcare exposure preferred. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. This is a regular full-time on-site role with travel.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in healthcare or call center preferred.
• Healthcare knowledge from medical office or clinic setting is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy with high call volumes.
• Strong verbal and written communication, handling confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and gather personal and insurance information.
• Review provider schedules to place appointments correctly.
• Follow triage protocol as needed and route calls appropriately.
• Communicate patient results and updates with providers and staff.
• Encourage MyChart setup and assist with scheduling changes.
