Responsabilités

• Welcome patients in a professional, friendly, and caring manner.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Collect copays and reconcile daily payments.
• Answer incoming calls and assist with scheduling and questions.
• Schedule appointments according to clinical protocols.
• Process referrals received by phone, fax, or email.
• Coordinate outside diagnostic testing and obtain insurance authorizations when required.
• Assist with pre-authorization and ongoing authorization requirements.
• Verify insurance coverage to support accurate billing.
• Manage incoming faxes and documents, including referrals and records.
• Scan and maintain documentation in the EHR.
• Communicate with clinical staff to maintain efficient provider schedules.
• Review and reconcile daily charges for billing accuracy.
• Maintain a welcoming, organized waiting area.
