Springfield Clinic is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to be the welcoming entry point for patients and families. You will manage multi-department communications, verify patient information, schedule appointments, collect payments, and help guests navigate the FMH portal.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compassion, and efficient front desk operations. Ideal candidates are comfortable with technology, have HS diplomas or GEDs, and possess 1+ year of medical office experience.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Comfortable with technology.
• Experience in medical office helpful.
• Administrative or technical background 2–3 years of college preferred.
• Minimum one year medical office experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Answer incoming calls, identify caller needs, route calls and take messages.
• Assist guests with check-in, verify demographic and insurance information, update records as needed.
• Educate guests on FollowMyHealth (FMH) portal and assist with portal use.
• Collect patient payments, provide receipts, and reconcile with cash.
• Document guest requests in the EHR and coordinate with Care Team.
