Job summary

Atlantic Health in Morristown, NJ seeks a Scheduler I to handle a high volume of calls, verify insurance, register patients, and book appointments across Atlantic Medical Group practices.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm, with Epic queue workflows to ensure accurate data and timely care. HS diploma required; 1–3 years in a medical front desk or contact center preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in a contact center or front-facing medical office.
• Strong communication and data accuracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and coordinate with patients, providers, and locations.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect patient registration data accurately.
• Handle high-volume inbound/outbound calls and SMS requests.
• Utilize Epic work queues to maintain up-to-date patient information.
• Inform patients of appointment details and assist with cancellations or rescheduling.
