Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior administrative experience in a physician practice strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of computerized scheduling & EMR system is a plus.
• Travel to multiple locations (Morristown, Parsippany, Bridgewater, Hackettstown, Sparta, Summit, Livingston, Mendham, Warren, etc.)
• Ability to work variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manages phones.
• Schedules/confirms appointments.
• Verifies insurance coverage, complete forms, collect co-pays.
• Balances cash.
• Maintains schedule in EMR system, and processes pre-certs/authorizations & referrals as well as medical records releases.
