Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in Oceanport, NJ is seeking a Centralized Access Rep I in Scheduling for a hybrid work model. You will interact with patients, providers, payers, and colleagues to accurately schedule appointments and verify demographics, referrals, and insurance data.

A focus on customer service, patience, and computer skills is essential as you coordinate across facilities and support revenue cycle goals. Requires high school education and prior scheduling or patient access experience.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent with emphasis on computer literacy and communication skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Previous experience with medical scheduling or patient access experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to work 37.5 to 40 hours per week, in a quiet environment, and commute to Oceanport, NJ.
