Job summary

Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital is seeking a Patient Access professional to schedule diagnostic, surgical, and physician visits, verify demographics and insurance, and register patients in the scheduling system. This role operates in a high-volume call-center environment and requires meeting quality metrics.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of Patient Access experience, strong customer service skills, and a preference for bilingual English/Spanish/Creole.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Patient Access experience in internal staff
• Meets departmental KPIs and accuracy standards for at least the most recent 6 months
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Bilingual preferred: English/Spanish/Creole
• Healthcare regulatory knowledge (HIPAA, EMTALA, etc.) and scheduling guidelines knowledge

Responsibilities

• Schedule diagnostic, surgical, therapy, physician office visits and other procedures
• Obtain and verify demographic and insurance information
• Register patients and enter data into scheduling system
• Work in a call-center type environment and meet individual quality metrics
• Assist in onboarding and training team members; participate in departmental committees
