Job summary

Baptist Health Delray Beach is seeking a Patient Access Scheduler to coordinate diagnostic, surgical, and therapy appointments in a fast-paced center. You will verify demographics and insurance, register patients in the scheduling system, and support data integrity.

In this role, you will participate in go-lives and training, contribute to departmental initiatives, and uphold Baptist Health's service excellence by delivering compassionate, accurate customer service to patients and families.

Qualifications

• 1 year Patient Access experience (or equivalent)
• Able to meet accuracy and productivity standards
• Positive attitude and team player
• Proficient in data entry and basic math

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments (diagnostic, surgical, therapy, physician visits)
• Verify demographics and insurance information
• Register patients in scheduling system and enter data
• Work in a call center–type environment and meet quality metrics
• Assist go-lives and departmental training and onboarding
• Support committees and cross-training as needed
